Petra dances

At the theatre wardrobe Petra puts on a costume that is as yellow as the sun and admirers herself in the mirror. Suddenly she sees a girl of the same age as herself in the mirror, Awa. She takes Petra to Senegal for her grandfather’s funeral.

“There is no need to be afraid of dying. The dead are needed to take care of the living,” Awa tells Petra. In the funeral the girls dance happily with the tribe members to celebrate grandfather’s soul that is now safe.
